About this speaker

Vic Stirling is the Head of Service at SYHA. She oversees the portfolio of homeless services for the Association to support individuals and families across the Sheffield City Region. This includes Housing First Rotherham which has been supporting people experiencing homelessness since 2018, and Housing First in Chesterfield which recently began in October 2020.

Vic also leads a seven-year project to reduce social isolation and loneliness in people aged 50 and over for SYHA. Age Better in Sheffield is funded by The National Lottery Community Fund (TNLCF) and is part of their Ageing Better strategic programme across England.

Prior to working at SYHA, Vic worked for the Good Things Foundation, a national digital and social inclusion charity as Head of Network. In this role Vic led the grant giving and development to a network of over 2,000 community organisations to deliver digital inclusion support.
